Do you ever wish that you would have gotten married in a tropical location? Vow Renewal Ceremonies are a great way to have the island wedding that you didn't have but wish you had. Or maybe you did get married in a tropical destination and now want to do it all again. Most resorts offer vow renewal ceremonies and sometimes they are even offered for free, depending on the room category and how many nights you book.
Your vow renewal ceremony can be as simple or elaborate as you choose. You may choose to renew your vows with just the two of you or maybe you want to bring along family and friends. Once you book the resort stay, I will put you in touch with the wedding coordinator at the hotel and that's when the fun begins. You then get to choose your flowers, wedding cake, etc. If you want to bring along family and friends, all you have to do is give them the date, location and my phone number and I take care of all of the booking arrangements for your guests too. |
The pictures above were taken April 12, 2017 at Excellence Riviera Cancun where my husband and I, along with close family and friends, renewed our vows. It was our 15th wedding anniversary. The first time we got married it was in a court house and I had always wished that we had gotten married on the beach.
This vow renewal ceremony was extra special to us as we weren't just renewing our vows. We were also celebrating life! On April 7, 2016 I was diagnosed with an invasive breast cancer and spent the next several months going through chemo treatments, mastectomy and reconstructive surgery. I had lost all of my hair after my first chemo treatment and when these pictures were taken my hair was shorter and a different color than it used to be but I was thankful that it grew back. Every time I look at these pictures it reminds me of how far we have come these past five years and what an amazing day our ceremony at the beach was. |
